A Dream Under Sail – My Three-Month Journey
For as long as I can remember, the dream of embarking on a long sailing voyage has lived quietly inside me. This year, that dream has become a reality. I've taken a three-month leave from work to set sail on an adventure I’ve envisioned for years—an unforgettable journey from Denmark, around the Swedish coast, up to the vibrant heart of Stockholm, and then back home through the historic and picturesque Göta Canal.
This isn't just a solo endeavor. My amazing wife has been my strongest supporter from the very beginning. Our two children will be joining parts of the voyage, turning this into a family adventure that we will cherish forever. My wife will also join me for the magical stretch through the Göta Canal—a route steeped in charm, history, and Scandinavian beauty.
This journey is about more than just sailing. It's about living fully, embracing freedom, exploring our stunning Nordic coasts, and spending meaningful time with the people I love most. The sea has always felt like home to me, and now, for the next three months, it truly is.
